This Barton Creek kitchen was designed for homeowners originally from Italy who wanted a clean, contemporary space that reflected true European style. After struggling to find a contractor in Austin who understood the look and the level of detail they were after, they reached out to Owner, Bert Bell. From the start, the planning focused on simplicity, function, and precision — the hallmarks of modern European design. Before demo began, we finalized the full scope, schedule, and selections to keep the project running smoothly from day one.

The remodel required a full reset of the existing layout. We removed the wall and peninsula, took the space down to the studs, and rebuilt it with a streamlined, frameless cabinetry system. The new cabinets feature Cleaf laminate exteriors, melamine interiors, dovetail drawer boxes, and push‑open soft‑close hardware for a clean, handle‑free look. Shadow Storm granite countertops, an oversized 18x35 Access Tour tile backsplash, and black stainless KitchenAid appliances complete the modern palette. Hickory Ridge Tobacco wood flooring and updated recessed and under‑cabinet LED lighting tie the entire space together.
