Appliance Showroom Cabinetry -- Austin, TX
This appliance showroom project transformed a blank 775-square-foot room at a local Austin appliance supplier into a fully designed commercial showroom featuring more than 60 Thermador and Bosch appliances. Owner Bert Bell developed the full layout and cabinetry package from scratch, designing every display to meet the precise specifications for flush-mount and built-in appliance installations across the entire space.
The cabinetry was built using high-end laminate with contemporary finishes -- custom wall panels, wine racks, floating shelves, and a one-of-a-kind large display table at the center of the room. Appliances were showcased on all four walls and in two central islands, creating an efficient flow for customer interaction and hands-on product demonstration.
The infrastructure work was substantial. New electrical service was routed to every appliance location, including multiple new 220-volt circuits, and new plumbing lines were run through the foundation to serve various displays. The space received new wood-look plank vinyl flooring, fresh drywall and paint, and a full lighting package with recessed and LED track fixtures to highlight the cabinetry and appliances throughout.
The finished showroom is a clean, modern commercial environment built to showcase premium appliances at the highest level -- a project that reflects the same precision and craftsmanship KBB brings to every custom cabinetry build.
