Kitchen Remodel in Cedar Park, TX 78613
This Bryce Canyon home needed a full kitchen overhaul -- the original layout was blocked by a corner pantry and peninsula that cut off the main walkway and kept the kitchen disconnected from the dining area. The homeowners wanted a cleaner, more open design with updated finishes throughout. Owner Bert Bell reworked the entire plan, finalizing scope and selections before demo to keep the project on track from start to finish.
Everything came out down to the studs. The corner pantry and peninsula were eliminated, and the wall between the kitchen and dining room was opened with a new structural header to create a connected, open layout. We trenched the slab to run electrical to the new island, then rebuilt the kitchen with frameless white shaker cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a vertically stacked 2x6 brick-glass mosaic backsplash in a striking teal finish. GE appliances were installed throughout, and recessed plus under-cabinet LED lighting was added for a bright, functional finish.
The entire first floor received new 6x36 wood-look porcelain tile for a cohesive, durable finish. The fireplace was also updated with a tiled surround and hearth, a new insert, and a floating walnut mantle -- pulling the updated look through the main living space.
The finished Bryce Canyon kitchen remodel is open, modern, and far more functional than the original layout -- a clean transformation from start to finish.
