BUDA KITCHEN OVERHAUL

This large Buda farmhouse needed a full kitchen overhaul to create a brighter, more open layout that fit the way the homeowners live. The original space was closed in with a soffit, peninsula, and aging finishes, so Owner, Bert Bell reworked the entire plan from floor to ceiling. Before demo began, we finalized the full scope, selections, and schedule to keep the project running smoothly from start to finish.

We removed everything down to the framing, relocated electrical, plumbing, gas, and HVAC, and opened the room by eliminating the soffit and peninsula. White oak hardwood flooring was installed throughout the first floor to tie the spaces together. The new kitchen features a custom-built range hood with an insert, cabinets to the ceiling, and a large buffet-style storage cabinet along one wall. Around the refrigerator, we added custom pantry cabinets with roll-out shelving for organized, easy-access storage.

Behind the kitchen, the large laundry room was fully remodeled as well. We added a seating and coffee area, bar sink, microwave, storage cabinets, and custom cabinetry around the washer and dryer to create a functional extension of the main living space.

The homeowners described the finished project as a stunning, functional transformation that exceeded their expectations — a clean, modern farmhouse kitchen built with precision, communication, and attention to detail.
