KitchenAid Appliance Showroom Cabinetry -- Austin, TX
This KitchenAid showroom project involved designing and building custom contemporary cabinetry for a local Austin appliance supplier to showcase a full line of KitchenAid products. The goal was to create a clean, modern display environment where customers could experience the appliances in a realistic, built-in setting. Owner Bert Bell developed the entire cabinetry package from scratch, engineered around exact manufacturer specifications to ensure precise clearances, ventilation, and alignment throughout.
The scope covered an extensive appliance lineup -- six refrigerators including two under-counter units, two wine refrigerators, six dishwashers, four ovens, a warming drawer, microwave, rangetop, and two range hoods. Every cabinet was built to fit each appliance's exact specifications, producing a seamless, integrated appearance across the entire showroom floor. The finished cabinetry features dark grey woodgrain laminate, white laminate with red accents, clean contemporary lines, and LED lighting throughout -- a polished commercial environment that doubles as a working demonstration space.
This project showcases a side of KBB that residential remodels don't always reveal -- the precision and technical discipline required to build cabinetry around commercial appliance specifications at scale.
