BARTON CREEK MODERN FLAIR

CUSTOM CABINETRY PROJECT IN BARTON CREEK, AUSTIN, TX

This large 1980s home in the Barton Creek neighborhood underwent a full, high‑end remodel, and our role was to design and build all of the custom cabinetry for the kitchen, great room, and two bathrooms. The homeowners wanted a clean, contemporary look with integrated appliances and furniture‑grade details, so Owner, Bert Bell developed a cohesive cabinetry package that tied the entire home together.

The kitchen features custom cabinetry built to house double wall ovens, a 48" Sub Zero gas rangetop, a built‑in column wine refrigerator, a built‑in Sub‑Zero refrigerator, and a fully integrated Miele coffee machine. All cabinets were frameless, slab‑door style, and finished with a dark‑chocolate six‑stage dye staining process for a rich, modern look. The 12‑foot island includes recessed bookshelves on one end and seating along the back, creating a functional centerpiece for the space.

In the bathrooms, we designed cabinetry with integrated seating areas, floating shelves, and a custom TV cabinet. The great room features floating base cabinets and large floating shelves on both sides of the fireplace, continuing the home’s contemporary design language.

The homeowners appreciated the craftsmanship, communication, and attention to detail throughout the project. The finished cabinetry brought a modern, cohesive feel to this Barton Creek home and played a major role in the overall transformation.
